The surface of the workpiece shows residual chips and very fine microscopic metal particles on the surface, these are called burrs and the more burrs there are, the lower their quality standard, they travel in cutting, grinding and other similar chip processing processes. To improve product quality and service life, it is necessary to remove burrs from all precision metal parts.

Workpiece surfaces, sharp corners and edges must be cleaned to an extremely high degree. The traditional processes for deburring are mechanical processes such as grinding, polishing and other processes with varying degrees of automation. The quality of the treated parts is often not guaranteed and production costs and personnel costs are very high.


Fluid polishing machine polishing deburring

Grit flow: also known as fluid polishing, refers to a polishing and deburring process, also known as fluid polishing, or squeeze grinding and polishing, mainly for internal holes, microscopic holes, irregular shapes, spherical surfaces, gears, etc., known for high efficiency, polishing and deburring thoroughly, without hurting the workpiece, but not for things of particularly large size. Abrasive fluid polishing technology originated in the United States, and currently the only countries in the world to fully master these processes are the United States, Japan and China.

1. Abrasive fluid polishing deburring working principle.

Abrasive flow processing is the use of viscoelastic abrasive media, in the set pressure repeatedly grinding processing surface, so that there are micro-hole products or mould bore to achieve polishing and deburring effect of special processing, such equipment is called abrasive fluid deburring machine. Abrasive fluid deburring is very efficient for more complex cross holes, typically represented by carbide valve blocks, oil circuit blocks, valve bodies, 3D printed hydraulic components, etc. These products have very many internal holes and very complex cross vertical and horizontal, which cannot be reached by manual deburring or unusual equipment.

2. Abrasive fluid polishing and deburring machine composition.

Abrasive flow deburring machine is mainly composed of the following three parts: one is the abrasive flow processing machine tool, he provides abrasive storage and control strength; two is the polymer fluid abrasive, it is the core technology of abrasive flow processing. This polymer material is well bonded to the abrasive grain and does not adhere to the metal, does not volatilise and ensures sufficient elastic flow of the abrasive; thirdly, the fixture, which positions the workpiece and forms a fluid abrasive channel with the surface of the workpiece to be machined and acts as a guide for the flow of the fluid abrasive.

3. Process characteristics of the abrasive flow fluid deburring process.
